The Truth About Multi-Level Marketing: Earnings

The Truth About Multi-Level Marketing: Earnings

In a recent article titled: Direct marketing: more hype than reality the author states that "the reality is much different than the hype that you hear about all the money to be earned in multilevel marketing sales."

I agree...

Most people in network marketing fail to earn a profit. Is that a fault of the industry or is it something else?

Here's the real reason people fail - and you don't need to be one of them...

[More:]

When I was in Real Estate advertising I learned that most real estate agents sold ZERO homes per year. A few sold several hundred - some even more with their own support team. And these where the people other agents coming into the business most wanted to be like. But they often wanted it instantly and were not willing to (or unable to) give what the top producers gave to get and stay there. So they failed, washed out, got other jobs or pursued other ventures. This was not a fault of the real estate industry!

One of the main reasons people fail in network marketing is because of the way various opportunities and companies are promoted. You don't need to look very hard to get clobbered by hype about how much you can earn in how short a time doing as little as "pushing a button."

That's just not reality.

With the average network marketing program costing less than $500 to join, people in general just don't take it that serious. Sure the hype sounds great, that course sounds like it might help, but when the enthusiasm buzz wears off and it's Monday morning again, are you going to do what it takes? 97% don't and that's not a fault of the network marketing business model.

Network marketing is a business, a very profitable one - I've personally made millions and have personally helped a number of other do the same. Moreover the number of people that have made above the average is insane and it's a track record I'm very proud of. Yet, not a single one of them did it the traditional/stereotypical way.

Network marketing is a business. It's a people business. If you hate to be around other people (physically or virtually) have trouble relating to others, care only about money and not about changing lives - this business isn't for you. And if you are not 100% committed to improving yourself, building your skill and working with integrity then do the rest of us a BIG FAVOR, get out!
